HSM-CD7: Rutherford (Sequa) Decorator/Basecoater High Speed Logic Module

Reduces scrap by reducing the number of cans blown-off for each miss-load, typically by 50% or more.
Increases quality by eliminating silver cans, partially printed cans, and partially varnished cans down the line. Eliminates inside litho (printed mandrel) problems as well.
Provides Q.C. Select-A-Can blow-off feature for print quality verification of each blanket at full production speeds.
Operates at speeds up to 2,400 Cans per minute.
Can be used on all Rutherford Basecoaters (both carriage trip models and two coater roll models) as well as all Decorator models.
Controls: damaged can blow-off, print carriage trip, varnish unit trip, bad can pin chain blow-off, QC pin chain blow-off, can gate, and more…
Module provided for door mounting on the existing user's control cabinet door or console.

HSL-DC6: Ragsdale (APM) Decorator/Basecoater High Speed Logic Module

Reduces scrap by reducing the number of good cans blown-off for each miss-load to zero.
Increases quality by eliminating silver cans down the line. Eliminates inside litho (printed mandrel) problems as well.
Provides Q.C. Select-A-Can blow-off feature for print quality verification of each blanket at full production speeds.
Operates at speeds in excess of 2,400 Cans per minute.
Can be used on all Ragsdale Basecoaters as well as all Decorator models (both 24 spindle and 36 spindle machines). Can be used to upgrade from interposer trip to rotary trip as well.
Controls: rotary (A/B/C) trip cams, single (bad can) pin chain blow-off, QC pin chain blow-off, can gate, and more…
Module provided mounted in 16" X 14" X 8" enclosure for mounting next to machine or the existing user's control cabinet or console.

HSL-DC5: Ragsdale (APM) Decorator/Basecoater High Speed Logic Sub-panel

Pre-wired sub-panel version of HSL-DC6 for mounting inside existing user's control cabinet.
Performs identical functions as HSL-DC6 with the addition of pnuematic ductor control as well (see the HSL-DUCTOR package below).

HSM-CCSD2: Crown Cork & Seal Decorator High Speed Logic Module

Reduces scrap by reducing the number of good cans blown-off for each miss-load to just two (the bad can and the can on the opposite mandrel).
Increases quality by eliminating silver cans down the line. Eliminates inside litho (printed mandrel) problems as well.
Provides Q.C. Select-A-Can blow-off feature for print quality verification of each blanket at full production speeds.
Operates at speeds in excess of 2,400 Cans per minute.

HSL-CCSD1: Crown Cork & Seal Decorator High Speed Logic Sub-panel

HSL-DUCTOR: Decorator Pneumatic Ductor Control

Increases quality by eliminating variation in ink density with changes in speed thus providing consistent color quality. Repeatable color quality from one run to the next of the same label by recalling ductor cycle rates from last run.
Reduces label change-over time by recalling ductor cycle rates from last time label was run. Reduced spoilage is incurred since fewer cans are wasted while dialing in correct color.
Provides wider decorator operating speed by eliminating color variation as a function of speed. Decorator can now be run at various speeds depending on line conditions thus providing optimum overall line operation.
Operates at speeds in excess of 2,400 Cans per minute.
Replaces mechanically cammed ductors with pneumatically controlled ductors. Allows adjustment of ductor cycle rate to a resolution of one tenth of a can.
