IMPORTANT SAFETY WARNING:

The following packages are intended as high-speed logic gates to provide consistent and accurate clutch control. They are not designed as redundant, dual-processor clutch brake safety modules. The packages must not be the only means of controlling the machine clutch mechanism. Good design practice dictates the use of safety interlocks on any device that starts or stops automatically that can cause personnel injury to operating or maintenance personnel. These packages must be used only in conjunction with industry approved safety interlock contacts, implemented in accordance with ANSI B11.1 safety requirements, otherwise serious personnel injury may result.

• Reduces tooling damage by accurately detecting short can/tear-offs and immediately de-activating the clutch and cupfeed to prevent feeding additional cups.
• Provides repeatable air strip control to prevent air stripping and blow-out problems.
• Accurately controls clutch with brake wear compensation algorithm to stop press at BDC regardless of brake response.
• Controls: clutch solenoids, air strip solenoid, cupfeed solenoid, rotary trip solenoid, short can detection, die sensor fail detection, and more…
• Module provided for door mounting on the existing user's control cabinet door or console.

• Pre-wired version of HSM-WI7 for ease of installation.
